I work with individuals who want to:

EMDR

Have you engaged in talk therapy for a while, but still feel there is more room for healing from a traumatic experience?

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) may be a good fit.  I guide you using a somatic approach, using eye-movements, to reprocess earlier experiences to encourage healing and new found understandings of yourself and your experiences.

EMDR is an excellent fit for those looking to move past trauma, anxiety, depression, and negative self-image. It works whether you have had a singular traumatic incident or years of painful experiences that are currently impacting your well-being.

Psychodynamic

Do you feel like there’s more below the surface?

Psychodynamic therapy is a form of talk therapy that focuses on understanding the unconscious processes that influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

It can be particularly beneficial if you’re interested in exploring the deeper aspects of who you are and understanding how your past influences your present.

It’s a good fit for individuals looking for profound, lasting change rather than quick fixes. This approach works well for those who seek deep understanding, value self-exploration, and desire meaningful, long-lasting change.

CBT & DBT

Do you need supportive tools to help you navigate through the day with ease?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) may be a good fit for those who want concrete tools (worksheets, homework, etc) to manage dysfunctional thinking patterns and negative thoughts.

We work towards specific goals in a structured, present-oriented approach. We also include some practices of mindfulness to learn how to be more present in the moment and observe your thinking patterns without judgement. These approaches are suitable for a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, phobias, and stress.

Beginning the therapy process is often the hardest part.

But you won’t walk this path alone -
I will be there every step of the way.
