What are your rates?
My services are priced at industry standard for New York City. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who are not able to afford therapy.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. I know navigating insurance can be tricky, so I will support you in providing the required documentation (“superbill”) to submit claims to your insurance company for you to receive reimbursement. I recommend that you speak to your insurance provider to verify your benefits. The following questions are often helpful in getting the information you need:
Do I have out-of-network mental/behavioral health benefits?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, what is it and has it been met by other medical expenses?
What amount is covered per psychotherapy session?
What payments do you accept?
I take Zelle, Credit and Debit as payment methods.
Where do you see clients?
I am virtual only - sessions are held on Zoom. I am licensed in New York, Massachusetts, and Florida.
What is your cancellation policy?
I understand there may be times where you may need to cancel or reschedule our session time and I try to be as flexible as possible. I ask that you give me 48 hours notice of any scheduling changes. If you cancel within 48 hours and I cannot reschedule you, you will be responsible for the full session fee.
How long are sessions and how often do we meet?
Sessions are 45 minutes (sometimes longer for EMDR sessions). I recommend we meet at least weekly so that we are making active progress on your goals.
Beginning the therapy process is often the hardest part.
